IDXA NanoThrusters

IDXA to venture into new nanothrusters development. The technology will be based on ion / plasma thruster which are popular among satellite OMS propulsion as microthruster. Our thrusters however are  focused on the applications for cubesats. The construction of the thrusters will be made using MEMS technology and microfluidics channels to operate the thrusters in the 1 to 10 micro Newtons range. We are currently setting up a TVC (Thermal Vacuum Chamber) for the purpose of testing the thrust generated by the thruster. The propellant of choice at the moment are selections of inert gasses such as argon and xenon.
